Your Compliance Calendar

Overview

Staying on top of IORP II compliance means managing a set of recurring deadlines — some annual, some on longer cycles, some triggered by events. Missing a deadline can result in PA enforcement action. PensionPortal.ai’s Compliance Calendar gives you a single view of everything due across your scheme.

Reminders are sent to the email addresses registered in the platform. Make sure trustee contact details are kept up to date, especially after any changes to the trustee board.

Viewing the Compliance Calendar

Navigate to Compliance → Calendar to see:
  • All upcoming deadlines for your scheme
  • Colour-coded status: green (complete), amber (due soon), red (overdue)
  • Click any deadline to open the relevant module directly
You can filter by:
  • Date range
  • Obligation type
  • Status (pending, in progress, complete, overdue)

Exporting Deadlines

1

Open the Compliance Calendar

Navigate to Compliance → Calendar.
2

Select export format

Click Export and choose:
  • PDF — a formatted compliance schedule suitable for board packs
  • iCal (.ics) — import into Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar
  • CSV — for use in spreadsheets or other tools
3

Select date range

Choose the period you want to export (e.g., the next 12 months).
4

Download or subscribe

For iCal exports, you can either download a one-time file or subscribe to a live feed that updates automatically as deadlines change.
Export the iCal feed to your calendar at the start of each year. This gives you a persistent reminder system that doesn’t depend on logging into the platform.

What to Do if a Deadline is Overdue

If you see a red (overdue) item in your calendar:
  1. Don’t panic — address it as soon as possible
  2. Complete the overdue action in the platform
  3. If the overdue item involves a PA filing (e.g., ACS), file immediately and consider whether to notify the PA proactively
  4. Document what steps you took and when
A well-documented late filing is far better than an undocumented one. The platform’s timestamping creates a record of when you acted.
